Hamster Dance draws police attention

Dance music echoing through MacEwan Students' Centre last Wednesday was loud enough to annoy a merchant tenant.

"We got a call from the police asking us to turn down the volume a few decibels, so we did and carried on with our day," said Students' Union Vice-President Events Irene Enyedy who also organized the Shinerama fund-raising activity.

The phone call to police happened around noon. Police would not disclose the name of the complainant.
