Imagine the feeling of leading a riot against a line of policemen. The angst, hatred and fear all rolled up into one intense emotion. Now transform this feeling into music. What you get is a sound similar to that produced in Boy Set Fire's new LP Live for Today. Their new recording features three newly recorded tracks as well as three live tracks, all filled with anger toward society and the government. The only slower, more melodic song, "Handful of Redemption," almost seems out of place on the album. However, the band's powerful distortion, great bass lines, and an interesting combination of singing and screaming make this record more than worthwhile.
