Closure's debut CD is like cream of wheat. It's good, it's filling, but it's not all that exciting.
This pop rock CD is perfect for those occasions when four people in a car can't agree on what to listen to, since there's nothing on this disc that anyone could disagree with. Their slickly-produced guitar riffs paired with flawless drums make for a technically proficient product. And what their instrumentation lacks in passion, lead vocalist Brian Howes tries to make up for by constantly shouting out each lyric at the top of his lungs.
Closure is just another run-of-the mill mainstream group producing music that we have all heard before. This band is good, but they need to take more risks in their next album, if they ever want to be considered great.
