Trying to find out where your food came from and how it was produced can be difficult because food is often imported or the information might not be readily available. However, the best way to ensure freshness and quality is planting your own seeds and harvesting vegetables straight from the earth.

Can we live waste-free in a world where most goods come packaged, and throwing stuff away allows us to forget about it? We need to change the way we think about waste and reduce the amount of waste we produce.

  Pubic lice declared an endangered speciesPDF files may take a moment to load

Pubic lice, commonly known as crabs, were declared an endangered species last week. A 2003 study from the Australian Kirby Institute showed pubic lice as the most common sexually transmitted infection in Australia. Now, a mere 10 years later, the Kirby Institute has noted a dramatic decrease in the number of pubic lice infections.
